...ibanez roadstar II series 1984...

The Ibanez Roadstar series, also known as the Roadstar II series, is a series of electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki, first introduced in 1983. It is generally a series of various Fender Stratocaster and Superstrat type of guitars and the predecessor of the current RG series.
Ibanez has issued various guitar series based on the Fender Stratocaster since the late 1970s. The first was the Roadster guitars introduced in 1979, followed by the similar but stripped down and more affordable Blazer in 1981. Both had typical Fender features, such as a bolt-on neck, single coil pickups and the double cut curved body shape.

I worked for Barrington Guitars back when I was in High School, so I am a little prejudiced in favor of them. They actually had two brands of electric guitars, Barrington and Foxxe. The Foxxe guitars were the poor cousins of the Barringtons. The Foxxes sound just as good as the Barringtons but didn't play anywere as good as the Barringtons. Inever much played their Acoustics, so even though I did work for them back in the 80's I am not familiar with them. The Foxxe's were basically a Chavel type body construction. The Barringtons however had a wide variety of body constructions. Everything from a Strat/Chavel style body all the way up to full body Jazz guitars. The prices all range, but since they are no longer being manufactured you should be able to get good prices on any of them. I still own a Barrington Semi-Hollow body guitar that is remiscent, in sound at least, of a Les Paul....
