...improvisation on a P2 S EKO of 1973...

...this EKO of 1973 came almost destroyed...very bad frets, fretboard 'd come unstuck, a lot of breaks on body...
...the guitar shows excellent job, the neck is made from three pieces of wood with no thruss rod, body made full of mahogany...
...I spent a lot of hours to bring this lady back..
...my good friend Dimitris Dimou made an excellent job on the neck and the fretboard...
...so...
...the action of the guitar is very low like an ibanez rg but the sound very clear and brilliant like a dobro one usin' jim dunlop's blues set 12-54 strings for electric guitar...
...this is the guitar now...i'll play it for a while testin' it and then i'll install an old '70s ceramic sigle coil to personalize this beuty, tryin' to keep it as it is...

...well, I think is the most bluesy guitar that ever came to my hands...

...this is the end of part one...

..checkin' the sound before the final installation...
....using a very old 70's ceramic single coil...

...this is the end of part two...

                                                    ...and at last...

...and this is the end of my improvisation....

...customizin' an ibanez ex of 1989...

...the Ibanez EX series is a series of electric guitars produced by Hoshino Gakki, first introduced in 1988. The EX (short for "Experimental") models were RG-like guitars produced in Korea instead of Japan as a more affordable alternative. They presumably were named differently to prevent them from possibly hurting the reputation of the RG name, although some markets already did have some Korean made RG models.

The EX models finally were replaced by the Ibanez RX series in 1994. That year, Ibanez also started with the production of higher-end Korean RG models like the RG450 and RG470...

...this lady is in excellent condition...watch its customization the next days, changin' the pikups, wirin', pots, switch..etc... and doin' some aesthetic changes...

...ok, i've changed the pickups with a HB PAF 59 set, the wiring, the pots and the pot knobs... this guitar plays now like a very good lespaul but also has the sounds of a real stratocaster...
