...why plywood...

...very common question when guitarists talking 'bout low quality guitars...is the body made of plywood;...so plywood is a material that doesn't worth...
...but the question really is... why a lot of guitars have bodies made of plywood, specially the korean, and old japanese guitars;...and why the manufacturers used this material, that doesn' t worth nothing...
..the answer is very simple... because plywood gives notes with very good and clear tones...
...if the guitar is a lespaul style gives with a low action maple-rosewood neck an inner reverve - chorus - vibrato feel, if the guitar is a strat style gives with a medium-high action maple - rosewood or just maple neck a sound with real reverve and very - very tight notes and harmonics...
...plywood body also is very strong because of the way of makin', has no damages from the tensions like other woods, has no inner air holes, knots or other hindrances to the spreading of sound waves, has the best body construction called "the sandwich" and stays always the same among the years...

...play with a plywood body guitar and you 'll feel the notes comin' out like from the bottom of  the sea...

...so, in my opinion and after a lot of experimentation with woods using the same pickups...

           ...plywood gives the best sound
you can have from an el. guitar...

...this guitar is a Venson made in Korea between 1989-1992... is very well made...the body is made of plywood... and with the stock pickups gives a real stratocaster sound...
